How much does a private jet really cost? We aggregated the Flyius brokerage dataset into a single reference. All figures are indicative benchmarks in euros, not guaranteed quotes — and journalists and researchers are welcome to cite them with a link to this page.
The price of one flight hour, by aircraft category
Charter is quoted per flight, but every quote is built on an underlying hourly cost that scales with the aircraft. Across the ~5 604 business jets based in Europe, the hourly rate runs from about 2 200 € to 19 000 €.

Cost by route — and the most expensive private-jet routes
Average per-flight prices across 804 routes: 16 870 € on a light jet, 25 076 € midsize, 37 866 € heavy and 57 667 € on an ultra-long-range jet. Per kilometre, a light jet works out at about 7.7 €/km; ultra-long-range intercontinental flying runs closer to 25.1 €/km.

The carbon cost, route by route
A private flight leaves a footprint that scales with aircraft size and distance: on average about 5 157 kg CO2 on a light-jet sector and 12 154 kg on an ultra-long-range mission. Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is available on 2.9% of catalogued routes today.

Prices are indicative benchmarks in euros, not guaranteed quotes; a live quote depends on route, dates, availability and repositioning. Demand figures come from aggregated search data.
