Customs availability is subject to seasonal staffing and should not be assumed as walk-up clearance outside core operating months. For arrivals from non-Schengen points of departure, prior coordination with the handling agent for customs pre-notification is essential — unannounced customs requests during off-peak months carry a real risk of refusal or delay. Catering, ground transport, and crew accommodation must be arranged in advance through the handling agent, as on-airfield facilities are basic by design for an island field of this size.
