The single asphalt runway at JMK stretches 1,880 metres, which comfortably accommodates light jets and mid-size aircraft such as the Phenom 300, Citation CJ4, and Learjet 75 without payload compromise under standard ISA conditions. Super-midsize jets — Challenger 350, Praetor 600 — can operate subject to weight restrictions and fuel load management; confirm performance calculations with your operator before dispatch. Heavy jets and ultra-long-range types (Global 7500, Gulfstream G650) are not operationally compatible with this runway. Field elevation sits at 405 ft, making density altitude a non-factor for flight planning purposes.

Mykonos Town is approximately 3 km from the terminal — a 10-minute transfer under normal conditions, though road congestion during high season can extend this to 20–30 minutes in the evening hours. The port of Mykonos, used for superyacht tendering and ferry connections to Greece's Cycladic neighbours, is within the same transfer corridor.
