Runway 06/24 — the longer of the two — reaches 3,715m, while runway 12/30 measures 3,250m, both paved and instrumented to CAT III ILS standard. Field elevation sits at 1,247 ft AMSL; density altitude is not operationally significant for any aircraft type under normal Central European temperatures. Slots are required for IFR movements; coordinate through the Czech ANS slot office (IANS) or via handling confirmation. PPR is not required for ad hoc charters, but advance notice of at least two hours to the FBO is standard practice at PRG.

Transfers & Connections

The FBO ramp gives direct vehicle access for chauffeur transfers. Prague city centre (Wenceslas Square, Old Town, Smíchov financial district) is approximately 17–22 km by road, typically 20–35 minutes via the D7 motorway and Václavské náměstí approach depending on traffic. Prague 5 (Anděl business cluster) and the Pankrác financial district are reachable in under 30 minutes outside peak hours. For onward regional routing, helicopter transfers to Brno, Karlovy Vary, or ski resorts in the Krkonoše are coordinated via the GA ramp. Connecting traffic to Warsaw Chopin or Budapest Ferihegy typically operates on light-to-midsize types with no technical stop required.

Handling & Customs

The dedicated FBO at PRG is operated by Jet Support — a long-established Prague-based handler providing VIP lounge access, crew facilities, catering coordination, and full ground support for wide-body and ultra-long-range types. Customs and border control are available on-site H24, with no pre-arrangement requirement for Schengen arrivals; non-Schengen movements (Gulf, UK post-Brexit, US) require advance notification to Czech Border Police, standard 2-hour lead time. The Czech Republic is a full Schengen member, making PRG a clean intra-Schengen point of entry for European routing. Fuel (Jet-A1) is available H24 via bowser or hydrant. Czech Republic entry documentation requirements for third-country nationals should be confirmed ahead of block-in time.
