For Wolfsburg-bound passengers, the A2 eastbound delivers VW headquarters in approximately 25 minutes, making HAJ a more practical arrival point than Berlin or Frankfurt for that corridor.

Hannover Messe in April is the single largest driver of private jet traffic into HAJ, concentrating demand into a five-day window that requires ramp booking and customs pre-notification well in advance. CeBIT — now integrated into other digital economy formats — historically generated a secondary March peak. Automotive supply chain conferences in September and October keep steady charter demand alive through autumn. During off-peak periods, inbound leisure flights target the Maschsee lakefront, the Herrenhausen baroque gardens and the compact but well-curated restaurant and gallery scene around the Linden and Mitte districts. For connections onward into Germany, HAJ sits equidistant between Hamburg and Berlin, making it a natural mid-point for multi-city northern European programmes.
