Operational Profile

La Môle operates under daylight hours only; H24 operations are not available, and block-in times must account for published closing hours, which vary by season. The runway runs approximately 1,800 metres of usable surface — suitable for light jets including the Phenom 300, Citation CJ3+, and PC-12, but not for midsize or heavier aircraft without specific weight and performance analysis. Pilots should note that the field is surrounded by hilly terrain on multiple sides, requiring careful adherence to published instrument and visual approach procedures. Transfers & Connections

Ground transfer to Saint-Tropez village runs approximately 20–25 minutes by road in low season, extending significantly during summer peak when the D559 and surrounding roads experience heavy congestion. Helicopter transfer is the operationally preferred solution for time-sensitive arrivals during July and August — several operators position aircraft at LTT specifically for this purpose. Port Grimaud, Ramatuelle, and Gassin are all within 15–20 minutes by road. Handling & Customs

Customs clearance at LTT is available seasonally — confirmed on-site during peak summer months, but not guaranteed year-round. For non-Schengen arrivals outside the June–September window, verify customs availability directly with the handling agent at least 48 hours before arrival; non-Schengen clearance may require diverting to Toulouse or Nice.
