The single paved runway extends 2,200 m (7,218 ft), which accommodates light jets including the Phenom 300 and Citation CJ3+ without restriction, and admits midsize platforms such as the Citation XLS+ under normal load configurations. For principals with estates near Sarlat-la-Canéda, BVE cuts transfer time significantly versus routing through Bordeaux-Mérignac. Périgueux and the northern Dordogne remain a longer 70–80 km drive, for which Bergerac may be the preferable alternative field.
