SGN operates around the clock with no published noise curfew for international traffic, though coordination with ATC is advisable during peak commercial windows (0600–0900 and 1800–2100 local). The main runway 07L/25R measures 3,800 metres, fully capable of supporting heavy jets including the Gulfstream G650, Global 7500, and Airbus ACJ family without payload restriction. A second parallel runway, 07R/25L at 3,048 metres, provides parallel operations and reduces delay exposure during peak periods. Field elevation is 33 ft AMSL — density altitude is operationally irrelevant at this elevation. Surface transfer to District 1 via Truong Son Street and the Nguyen Van Troi corridor runs 20–35 minutes in off-peak conditions; the same route can exceed 60 minutes during morning rush. Helicopter transfers to downtown helipads are operationally feasible but subject to CAAV approval and are rarely used for routine transfers.
