Flyius is a charter broker — flights are operated by certified third-party operators. We review safety credentials, insurance, and operational standards before an operator joins our comparison network.

Top-Rated Safety Certifications
We prioritise operators holding at least one internationally recognised safety certification. Standards vary by operator and jurisdiction.
ARGUS Platinum
The highest rating in the ARGUS International charter safety rating system. Only the top-performing operators achieve Platinum status, requiring comprehensive audits of operational history, pilot qualifications, aircraft maintenance records, and insurance coverage.
IS-BAO Certified
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). IS-BAO certification requires operators to implement a Safety Management System (SMS) and adhere to globally recognized best practices in flight operations.
Wyvern Wingman
Wyvern's Wingman Standard evaluates operators on over 2,000 data points including safety records, pilot training programs, maintenance protocols, and operational procedures. Only operators demonstrating consistent excellence earn this certification.
Vetting process
The five checks before any operator quotes
Every operator on Flyius passes the same five-step review before their first quote reaches a client — and stays under review afterwards.
Air Operator Certificate
We verify the AOC with the issuing civil aviation authority — EASA, FAA, UK CAA or the relevant national regulator — including the certificate's scope, validity and the aircraft actually listed on it.
Third-party safety audit
We check the operator's standing with ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO. An expired or downgraded rating means the operator is paused until the audit is current again.
Insurance verification
Liability cover is confirmed against the certificate itself, not a statement — including limits appropriate to the aircraft category flown.
Crew standards
Command experience on type, recurrent simulator training and duty-time compliance are reviewed for the crews operating our clients' flights.
Ongoing monitoring
Certificates, audit ratings and insurance are re-checked on a rolling basis — and before every booking we confirm the specific aircraft and crew assigned.
When any check fails, we don't negotiate — the operator is removed from quoting until it passes again.

Rigorous Maintenance
All partner aircraft are maintained in full compliance with EASA Part-145 approved maintenance organizations. This includes scheduled inspections (A, B, C, and D checks), component life tracking, and mandatory Airworthiness Directives. Maintenance records are audited annually.
Real-Time Weather Intelligence
Our operations team uses advanced meteorological data from multiple sources including METAR, TAF, and SIGMET reports. Flights are only dispatched when conditions meet strict safety minimums. If weather deteriorates, our team proactively reroutes or reschedules to ensure passenger safety.
Safety Management Systems
All partner operators maintain a certified Safety Management System (SMS) per ICAO Annex 19 standards. This includes systematic hazard identification, risk assessment processes, safety reporting culture, and continuous improvement protocols. Safety performance indicators are tracked and reviewed quarterly.
