St. Petersburg city centre is approximately 17 km from the airfield, reachable in 20–35 minutes via the Pulkovskoye Highway depending on traffic. The historic core — the Hermitage, Nevsky Prospekt, the palaces of Peterhof — lies within a direct drive. For operators routing through non-sanctioned hubs, Istanbul and Dubai have served as legal transit points for CIS and Middle Eastern operators maintaining Russia access.
