At 18 ft elevation with typical summer temperatures, operators should note that payload margins on super-midsize platforms (Challenger 350, Praetor 600) warrant a weight and performance check during July–August heat peaks. Ultra-long-range heavy cabin aircraft (Global 7500, Gulfstream G650ER) are not suited to this field; positioning a midsize or super-midsize and connecting onward through Nice Côte d'Azur or Paris Le Bourget is the standard solution for transatlantic itineraries.

Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, and the southern coast's private estates are 2.5 to 3 hours by road; helicopter transfer is the operationally sound choice for clients bound for the Alta Rocca or Bonifacio cliffs. Propriano and its marina are approximately 1 hour 15 minutes south. For cargo or oversized charters to France requiring direct mainland connectivity, consider scheduling rotations through the summer peak before 08:00 local to avoid slot compression on the apron during peak arrivals windows.
