Midsize and super-midsize platforms will require positioning into Split (SPU) with a tender transfer to Brač, or a direct helicopter relay from the mainland. At 1,778 ft field elevation, operators should factor a modest density altitude penalty on warm summer days, particularly on southerly departures with maximum fuel and passenger load. For passengers continuing to Hvar, a speedboat or water taxi connection from Bol's waterfront cuts transit to under 30 minutes in season — a materially faster option than routing via Split and the Stari Grad ferry.
