Field elevation at 292 ft ASL keeps density altitude calculations entirely negligible across all aircraft categories. H24 customs clearance is available on site, with immigration handling coordinated through the Direction de l'Immigration. The standard transfer from DSS to the Plateau or Les Almadies quarters runs approximately 45 to 55 minutes via the VDN expressway and the Dakar-Diamniadio Toll Highway (A1). Traffic conditions at peak hours can extend this to 70 minutes — factor this into block-in time planning for time-sensitive connections. The Diamniadio Integrated Special Economic Zone (DISEZ) lies adjacent to the airport boundary, making DSS the logical arrival point for industrial delegations and government missions.
