For Iberian Peninsula routing, Lisbon sits under two hours by air and is a natural complement for multi-leg itineraries in this corridor. On-site customs and immigration operate as a British Overseas Territory border post, with full passport control and customs clearance available directly on the airfield — relevant for movements arriving from Schengen Area airports, as Gibraltar is outside the Schengen zone and outside the EU customs union. Operations are confirmed H24. GA handling is provided by dedicated ground services; the primary handler on the airfield has historically been associated with Bland Group aviation services, which manages the ground handling concession. Crew facilities and passenger lounges are available at the general aviation terminal. Catering coordination, fuel, and hotel arrangements for overnight crew can be handled locally.
