Henderson Executive Airport (KHND; FAA identifier HND, IATA HSH) is one of the most practical private-aviation gateways to Las Vegas. Located about 12 miles south of the Strip with direct access to I-15 and the 215, it is designed around business aviation rather than airline traffic. For passengers, that usually means a faster transition between aircraft and car, discreet ramp handling and less exposure to the commercial-terminal environment at Harry Reid International.

Runways and aircraft performance

HND has two parallel paved runways. Runway 17R/35L is 6,501 ft (about 1,982 m) by 100 ft, while 17L/35R is 5,001 ft (about 1,524 m) by 75 ft. The airport can accommodate a broad range of business aircraft, but Las Vegas summer heat matters: HND sits at roughly 2,492 ft elevation and high temperatures can materially increase density altitude.
