Getting to the Private Jet Centre

Which private jets can use London City?

Eligibility depends on more than aircraft size. The airport requires steep-approach aircraft documentation, operator authorisation and appropriate crew qualifications, including London City-specific training. Flight operating hours and closures

The airport publishes these flight operating windows in local time. They describe flight operations, rather than passenger terminal opening hours. Official operating hours.

The Christmas Day closure overrides the public-holiday window. The final 30 minutes of operation are reserved for flights scheduled earlier but unavoidably delayed; they are unavailable for new scheduling. Operating restrictions.

International arrivals and UK entry

The Private Jet Centre advertises on-site UK Border Force and Customs for international arrivals. Border facilities.

What determines a London City charter price?

Your price comes in the operator's written quote for your itinerary. To understand the proposal, check how these factors affect it:

• Route and aircraft: the sectors flown and aircraft selected shape the flight cost. Compare the complete trip total alongside the proposed cabin.
• Positioning: an aircraft may need to fly empty to collect you or return to base afterwards, adding cost.
• Dates and timing: ask whether changing the schedule changes the available aircraft or positioning requirement. Flexibility does not assure a saving.
• Waiting for your return: retaining aircraft and crew can involve parking, crew expenses and time away from base; repositioning creates a different cost structure.

Alternatives when London City does not fit

If the aircraft or schedule cannot be accommodated, ask about London Biggin Hill or Farnborough, which both serve business aviation. Each requires its own operational acceptance.
