Norden-Norddeich (NOD / EDWS) is a small general aviation airfield on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony, positioned approximately 5 km from the ferry terminal at Norddeich Mole — the primary embarkation point for the inhabited East Frisian islands of Norderney, Juist, Baltrum, and Langeoog. The airfield's operational profile is defined almost entirely by its physical constraints: a short paved/grass strip of approximately 900 metres, an elevation of 3 ft above sea level, and no instrument approach procedures.
