President Donald J. Trump International Airport (IATA/FAA DJT, ICAO KDJT) is the primary large-airport gateway for private aviation into Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. The airport was officially renamed from Palm Beach International Airport on 9 July 2026. Its FAA identifier and ICAO code changed to DJT/KDJT on that date, while the IATA passenger code changed from PBI to DJT effective 18 August 2026. Because travelers, operators and search systems will continue to encounter the former PBI/KPBI identity during the transition, Flyius preserves those former codes in this guide while using the current DJT/KDJT data operationally.

Runway and aircraft capability

The largest runway is 10,000 ft by 150 ft, approximately 3,048 m by 46 m. That runway gives the airport physical capability for the full spectrum of business aircraft, including large-cabin and ultra-long-range jets, subject to the operating carrier’s performance, weight, weather and runway calculations. The airport is in Class C airspace and has a 24-hour FAA air traffic control tower.

Palm Beach County lists three full-service FBOs at DJT: Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature Flight Support. DJT is a U.S. Customs and Immigration port of entry for general aviation. An international private flight nevertheless requires advance operational coordination, including the applicable CBP procedure, APIS transmission, crew and passenger documentation and handler arrangements. The existence of a customs facility is not a substitute for permission and pre-arrival compliance.

Access to Palm Beach

The airport is located immediately west of West Palm Beach and is a practical gateway for Palm Beach island, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Jupiter and surrounding communities. Ground transfer time varies by final address and local traffic. For passengers on the island or in central West Palm Beach, the short airport-to-destination distance is one of DJT’s strongest private-aviation advantages.
