Runway suitability, take-off weight and performance margins must be checked by the operator for the aircraft, route, weather and runway conditions. A secondary runway 06R/24L at 3,000 metres provides parallel operations during high traffic periods. Field elevation at 27 ft AMSL is operationally negligible. Customs and border-service hours, eligibility and prior-notice requirements must be confirmed with the handler for the requested airport, date and itinerary. A noise curfew applies between 00:00 and 06:00 LT for departures — arrivals remain possible subject to ATC discretion and pre-coordination with tower. Transfers & Connections

The general aviation terminal on the eastern side of the airfield provides private ramp access with ground-side vehicle transfer. Drive time to Puerto Portals is approximately 12 minutes via the Ma-1 motorway; Sóller and the Serra de Tramuntana require 40 to 50 minutes via the Ma-11. Helicopter positioning from PMI to Sa Coma or the northeast coast is available through several local operators. Palma's commercial ferry terminal, connecting to mainland Spain via Barcelona and Valencia, is 8 minutes from the apron. Availability and service hours for fuel, ground support, customs and other airport services must be confirmed with the handler for the requested date and movement. Customs and immigration are co-located with the GA terminal and process arrivals from non-Schengen origins, including the UK, Morocco, and Gulf-state registrations, without pre-clearance requirements outside of standard advance notification to border police. Parking fees escalate significantly during July and August; overnight hangarage is limited and must be secured weeks in advance for wide-body aircraft.
