Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU/LEMI) opened in 2019 as the region's primary civil aviation facility, replacing Murcia–San Javier. The AP-7 motorway links RMU to Murcia city in approximately 25 minutes. Cartagena — the region's principal industrial and port city — is reachable in around 40 minutes via the A-30/A-7. La Manga del Mar Menor, the primary leisure destination for private jet clients, sits approximately 55 km to the southeast. Ground transport options include helicopter transfers by prior arrangement to coastal resorts and private car services coordinated through the FBO. For clients requiring direct ramp-to-road delivery, the airport layout allows vehicle access to the GA apron.
