No dedicated motorway connects the airport to the town — ground transfers rely on the coastal road (Leoforos Dimokratias), which congests significantly in July and August. Helicopter transfers to Lindos and outlying island points are operationally available through local charter operators, cutting transfer times substantially for UHNWI clients arriving with crew on board. The Athens Eleftherios Venizelos hub is a 45-minute positioning flight for crew rotations or aircraft repositioning.
