Outside June–August, the route is quieter but not dead — the Croatian government and EU diplomatic traffic, as well as private family travel around Croatian public holidays, sustains occasional demand. Expect fewer aircraft positioned in Dubrovnik in winter and a corresponding increase in empty-leg positioning fees built into quotes. Plan transfers accordingly — an 18:00 departure in August can mean leaving the Old Town by 16:45 at the latest.

The airport has a dedicated general aviation apron and business aviation handling. Runway 12/30 at 3,300 m accommodates all jet categories. The airport is not 24-hour; operations typically run from early morning until the last scheduled commercial departure, roughly 23:00 in summer. For very early departures (before 06:00), confirm handling availability with your operator at the time of booking — out-of-hours handling surcharges apply.

Peak season (July–August) brings significant commercial traffic. Ramp space for private jets can be constrained during midday hours. Early morning departures (06:30–08:30) or evening departures (after 20:00) face less competition for handling and ground crew time.

Arrival: Paris Le Bourget

Paris Le Bourget (LFPB / LBG) is the primary business aviation airport for Paris and the correct choice for this routing. Le Bourget handles the bulk of Paris private jet traffic — it has dedicated FBO infrastructure, no commercial airline congestion, and direct motorway access via the A1 and A3.

FBO options at Le Bourget include Signature Flight Support and TAG Aviation, both providing full ground handling, catering, and car service coordination. Transfer time to central Paris depends heavily on time of day: 25 minutes at 07:00, 45–55 minutes during morning peak (08:30–10:00), and 50–60 minutes during evening peak (17:00–19:30). If your passenger arrives at 18:00 and needs to reach the 8th arrondissement for a dinner reservation, add a 60-minute buffer minimum. The driver should be briefed to use the A1/Périphérique routing and to monitor real-time traffic from the gate.

Le Bourget has no curfew in the traditional sense but does impose noise restrictions on certain jet departures between 22:15 and 06:00. For return departures to Dubrovnik, evening slots (before 22:00) are unrestricted. Meeting window: 11:00–16:30. Depart LFPB at 17:00, arrive DBV approximately 19:15 local. That is a workable day with four to five hours of meeting time.

The constraint is the westbound headwind on the return leg. In summer, westerly winds at cruise altitude can push the DBV–LFPB leg to 2h 30min. Build that into your planning rather than assuming the best case. The return is typically 10–15 minutes shorter (eastbound tailwind), so LFPB–DBV in around 2h 00min is realistic.
