PPR (Prior Permission Required) for general aviation movements is standard practice, and coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is mandatory well in advance. International positioning flights, particularly from the Gulf or South/Southeast Asia, should factor in fuel availability, slot windows, and the fact that ground operations are handled by a small pool of approved handlers.
