Arrival Profile: Paris Le Bourget (LFPB)

Le Bourget is the primary business aviation hub for Paris and one of the busiest in Europe. It sits 12 km northeast of central Paris. Le Bourget has no commercial airline traffic — every movement is business aviation, which keeps the terminal experience efficient.

Transfer to central Paris depends heavily on departure time. Le Bourget to La Défense runs approximately 25 minutes at 07:30 and can stretch to 50–55 minutes during afternoon peak (17:00–19:00). To central Paris (8th arrondissement, Triangle d'Or) allow 30 minutes in the morning and up to 60 minutes in the evening. Paris does not have helicopter transfer services from Le Bourget to the city center, so ground transport is the only option. Le Bourget operates with a curfew: no jet departures between 22:15 and 06:00 local time. Plan return departures accordingly. Slots at Le Bourget are required and can tighten significantly during major Paris events — fashion weeks (January, February, September, October) and the Paris Air Show (biennial, June) push slot lead times to 2–3 weeks. Outside those windows, 48–72 hours' notice is usually sufficient.

Same-Day Return: Is It Realistic?

Yes, with an early start. Depart Tallinn at 07:00, land Le Bourget approximately 09:10 local (Paris is UTC+1/+2 vs Tallinn UTC+2/+3, so you arrive roughly at the same clock hour). Transfer to a central Paris meeting by 10:00. You have a working window until 15:30–16:00 before needing to leave for Le Bourget to make a 17:00 departure — which gets you back in Tallinn before 21:00 local. That is a viable same-day structure. The constraint is the Le Bourget curfew on the return: if your Paris meetings run long and push past 22:00 local, you will be staying overnight. Build the return departure no later than 21:30 to stay within the window.
