Luton (EGGW / LTN) is the better option for passengers north of the river or in the City. Harrods Aviation and Signature Flight Support both operate FBOs at Luton. The Palais des Nations is approximately 20 minutes from the airport. Nyon, Versoix, and the east-shore commuter towns add 10–15 minutes.

GVA operates under slot coordination, and the airport has periods of significant congestion, particularly Thursday and Friday afternoons when Geneva residents and businesspeople return from London and Zurich. If you are planning a Thursday PM departure from London, your operator needs to request GVA slots at least 3–4 hours in advance, and during peak weeks (Davos week, the Motor Show, end-of-quarter Fridays in March/June/September) book 2–3 weeks ahead. Caution: if your Geneva meeting runs long (past 16:30), you may hit the 17:00–19:00 GVA slot crunch. Build a 30-minute buffer into your return departure time if the meeting agenda is open-ended.
