Executive charter traffic here is predominantly corporate: board-level rotations from Amsterdam Schiphol, investor flights from Frankfurt, and tech-sector traffic from across Northern Europe converging on a single city that punches well above its size in industrial output.

The primary runway (03/21) at EIN extends 2,540 metres (approximately 8,333 ft), placing every aircraft from the Citation CJ3+ and Phenom 300E through the Challenger 350 and Praetor 600 in full operational range without payload compromise. Field elevation of 74 ft MSL means density altitude is a non-issue across all fleet types and seasonal conditions. Heavier super-midsize and large-cabin aircraft — Falcon 7X, Global 5500 — operate normally on standard ISA days. The airfield is operated jointly by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) as a dual-use facility, which imposes structured coordination requirements; PPR and slot confirmation are mandatory for civil operators and must be arranged in advance through the handling agent.

Ground Handling

Dedicated general aviation handling is available at EIN with on-site customs clearance, allowing crew and passengers to process internationally without repositioning to Schiphol. The handling environment supports VIP passenger flows, crew rest, and catering coordination on request. Given the military co-use status of the field, all movements require pre-coordination — walk-up general aviation is not operationally viable here. H24 operations are available in principle, though after-hours clearances on the military side require advance notice to the duty authority; confirm block-in and block-out times with your handler no later than 48 hours prior.

Regional Access

The city centre of Eindhoven is approximately 7 km from the terminal — a 10 to 15-minute transfer via the A2 motorway interchange. ASML's campus in Veldhoven is reachable in under 10 minutes from the ramp. Amsterdam is approximately 120 km north via the A2, under 90 minutes by car, making EIN a competitive alternative to Schiphol for passengers whose final destination is in the Eindhoven–Den Bosch–Tilburg triangle. For connections onward to the Netherlands' northern coast or cross-border into Belgium, helicopter positioning is available through local operators. Brussels lies approximately 110 km to the southwest via the E313, roughly 75 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
