Handling at LOIH is managed through the local aero club structure rather than a dedicated FBO in the commercial sense. Catering coordination requires advance notice and is sourced locally. Operators accustomed to full-service FBO environments — direct ramp access, customs hall, crew car, international catering — should instead consider routing through Friedrichshafen (FDH) across the German border, which offers a longer runway, structured GA handling, and comparable ground transfer times into central Vorarlberg.
