There is no rail link; pre-arranged ground transport is standard. Lampedusa has no overland connection to mainland Italy — all passenger movement is by sea or air. For operators building a multi-leg itinerary through the central Mediterranean, Naples serves as the logical northern hub, while Palma de Mallorca covers western Mediterranean positioning. For eastbound routing, Athens provides onward connectivity into the Aegean.
