Runway 25/07 orientation is subject to the seasonal meltemi winds that characterise the Aegean summer, typically afternoon northerly gusts above 25 knots in July and August — preflight wind analysis is recommended for operations between 13:00 and 18:00 local during this period.

There is no rail infrastructure on Limnos; ground transfer options are limited to private car hire and taxi services arranged through handling. The island has no formal concierge infrastructure comparable to Mykonos or Santorini, so ground logistics should be pre-arranged through the handling agent rather than assumed on arrival.
