Trieste city centre in Italy sits about 45 km north, useful for clients with Italian-side business. Slovenia borders Austria, Croatia, Hungary, and Italy, making POW a viable first-stop for multi-leg Adriatic itineraries combining Dubrovnik (DBV) or Split (SPU) in the same trip.
