Key Airports

Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (FVHA/HRE) in Harare is the primary international gateway with a 4,725-metre runway, the longest in Africa south of the Sahara, capable of handling any aircraft. Victoria Falls International Airport (FVFA/VFA) is the tourist gateway with a 4,200-metre runway that also accommodates all jet categories and has been significantly upgraded. Hwange National Park Airport (FVWN/WKI) and Kariba Airport (FVKB/KAB) serve internal safari connections.

Permits and Operations

Zimbabwe Civil Aviation Authority (CAAZ) permits are required for all private aircraft with a minimum 72 hours advance notice.
