There is no customs and excise presence on-site; international arrivals require prior arrangement through HMRC, which in practice means Tiree is not a viable entry point for non-UK inbound private charter without pre-coordination. No dedicated FBO structure exists — ground handling is basic, managed by HIAL staff, covering refuelling (AVGAS and Jet-A1 available on request) and basic turnaround services.
