The dedicated general aviation apron on the eastern side provides separation from commercial terminal flows, with handler-level FBO services including enclosed hangar availability, direct ramp-to-vehicle transfers, and crew facilities. The 23:00–06:00 night curfew is the primary operational constraint — customs clears between 06:00 and 23:30, and mission planning must account for the hard stop. Outside the curfew window, ZRH offers a comparatively efficient processing environment: three runways with a 3,700-metre primary, and a suite of handlers with strong institutional knowledge of the client base they serve.
