About the Hawker Beechcraft Hawker 800XP

If one variant explains why the Hawker name is everywhere on European charter, it is the 800XP. Raytheon launched it in 1995 as eXtended Performance: a Hawker 800 fitted with uprated Honeywell TFE731-5BR turbofans, winglets, and a refreshed interior. Together those changes added cruise efficiency and shorter-field manners without disturbing what made the Hawker work — and operators bought it in numbers no other Hawker matched. Around 120 of them serve European charter today, by far the largest fleet of any single Hawker variant on the continent. It carries 8 passengers over 4,704 km at 852 km/h — and it does so reliably, on almost any ramp, almost anywhere in Europe.

Performance Excellence

Two crew operate the 800XP over 4,704 km / 2,540 nm at up to 852 km/h (460 ktas) on TFE731-5BR power. Roughly 120 examples serve European charter at around €5,800 per hour — the largest active fleet of any Hawker variant in the region. Its real strength is not on the spec sheet: it is the sheer availability of an 800XP within an hour's repositioning of almost any European city, and the predictability of an airframe operators have flown for thirty years.

Cabin Comfort

The 800XP's cabin is the long Hawker oval at its production peak: 6.50 m long, 1.83 m across, 1.75 m tall, with the marque's signature broad-shouldered feel for eight passengers in a double-club layout. The Raytheon-era refresh that came with the XP brought updated cabinetry, larger windows than earlier 800s, and a quieter interior treatment, lifting the perceived quality without changing the cabin's familiar geometry. Twenty-five years on, those refurbished 800XP interiors still feel solid because they were built that way to start.

High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
