In February 2021 Bombardier announced that it would stop building Learjets — ending a line that began in 1963 when Bill Lear's Learjet 23 gave the world both the executive jet and the word for it. The Learjet 75 Liberty, launched in 2020, is that line's final aircraft: a value-focused six-seat version of the Learjet 75, carrying the marque's signature pace and flat-floor cabin into its last production run.
