About the Bombardier Learjet 75 Liberty
In February 2021 Bombardier announced that it would stop building Learjets — ending a line that began in 1963 when Bill Lear's Learjet 23 gave the world both the executive jet and the word for it. The Learjet 75 Liberty, launched in 2020, is that line's final aircraft: a value-focused six-seat version of the Learjet 75, carrying the marque's signature pace and flat-floor cabin into its last production run. It seats 6 (up to 8) over 3,926 km at 860 km/h. To fly it is to fly the closing entry in one of aviation's most storied logbooks — the jet that ended the name that started the industry.
Performance Excellence
Two crew fly the Learjet 75 Liberty over 3,926 km / 2,120 nm at up to 860 km/h (464 ktas), quick and steep-climbing in the way the name always implied. Around 25 serve European charter at roughly €6,100 per hour, a young fleet for a discontinued type. Its specification is competitive; its significance is historic — the final Learjet, the last of a marque that ran from 1963 to 2021 and gave private aviation its most famous single word.
Cabin Comfort
The Liberty's cabin honours a Learjet tradition rivals never matched: a genuinely flat floor, here over 5.69 m, at 1.50 m tall and 1.55 m wide. Rather than cram in eight tight seats, the Liberty was offered as a deliberate six-seat 'executive suite' — four club chairs and a two-place layout — trading a row for legroom and the sense of a finished, premium cabin. A pocket door separates it from the cockpit for true quiet, and the lighting and finish were the most modern the marque ever fitted. It is a small cabin, but a complete one — the most refined interior Learjet ever delivered.
High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
