About the Cessna Citation VII

The Citation VII is the performance upgrade of the III line. Cessna fitted the more powerful Garrett TFE731-4R engines — significantly higher thrust than the standard III — and the gains were exactly where they were most useful: a much faster climb to cruising altitude, better hot-and-high airport performance, and steadier cruise at top speed in the thin upper air. The interior was specified to a higher standard than the value-orientated VI, returning the III's mid-cabin to its proper standing. The result is the most capable swept-wing Citation, cruising at 1,006 km/h and reaching its altitude with markedly less effort. It carries 8 passengers (up to 9), with around 25 in European charter — far more numerous than the VI. The VII is the III evolved into its definitive form: more power where it matters, in the best-supported variant on the market.

Performance Excellence

Two crew operate the Citation VII across 3,756 km / 2,030 nm at up to 1,006 km/h (543 ktas) on uprated Garrett TFE731-4R turbofans, the extra thrust delivering markedly faster climb and better hot-and-high airport performance. Around 25 examples serve European charter at roughly €5,000 per hour — by far the largest swept-wing Citation fleet in the region. Its case is sharpened performance and refinement: the III airframe with more power and a higher-grade interior, in the most numerous and best-supported variant of the line.

Cabin Comfort

The Citation VII's cabin is the proven swept-wing Citation midsize space — 4.98 m long, 1.55 m wide, 1.50 m tall — and what distinguishes it is the interior specification. Cessna outfitted the VII to a notably higher standard than the value VI, returning it to the III's intended position as a properly-finished mid-cabin: better materials, more capable cabin amenities and a fit and finish in keeping with the variant's flagship role in the line. Eight passengers in a club-four and pair benefit from the wider, taller cross-section the Citation III introduced — close to stand-up height and meaningfully roomier than the straight-wing Citations beneath it in Cessna's range. With the VII the most numerous of the swept-wing Citations on European charter, this is the version of the cabin most travellers will actually book.

High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
