Dassault built the Falcon 100 the way it builds fighters — for speed. An enlarged, improved development of the Falcon 10, it pushes a Mach 0.87-class cruise of 1,048 km/h that shames most modern light jets and embarrasses a few midsize ones. Garrett TFE731 turbofans and a wing borrowed from Dassault's combat-aircraft thinking give it the reflexes to match, while the cabin runs wider than the light-jet norm. It seats 6 (up to 7) over 2,408 km — short on range by design, but the quickest way to cross a continent in this size of aircraft.
