About the Nextant Nextant 400

The Nextant 400XT did something no business jet had done before: it created the "remanufactured aircraft" category. Nextant took the proven, abundant and depreciated Beechjet 400A airframe — itself validated to military standards — stripped it back to the structure, and rebuilt it as effectively a new aircraft. New Williams FJ44-3AP engines replaced the thirsty originals, cutting fuel burn by around 30% and adding range; a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 glass cockpit replaced the dials; the interior, systems and wiring were renewed throughout. The result, certified in 2011, was a jet that flew and felt new for roughly half the price of one. It carries 6 passengers (up to 7) over 2,778 km at 865 km/h, with around 10 in European charter. The Nextant is recycling applied to aviation, brilliantly.

Performance Excellence

Two crew operate the Nextant 400 across 2,778 km / 1,500 nm at up to 865 km/h (467 ktas) on new Williams FJ44-3AP turbofans — the re-engine that cut fuel burn around 30% over the original JT15Ds and extended range. Around 10 examples serve European charter at roughly €4,100 per hour. Its case is value through remanufacturing: a proven, durable airframe rebuilt with new engines, new avionics and a new interior, delivering near-new performance and feel at a fraction of a new light jet's cost — the most resource-efficient way into the class.

Cabin Comfort

The Nextant 400's cabin is the Beechjet's square, flat-floored shell — 4.97 m long, 1.37 m wide, 1.44 m tall — but everything inside it is new. Because the remanufacturing process strips the airframe to its structure, the cabin a Nextant passenger boards was built from scratch during the rebuild: new seats, new leather and veneer, new lighting, new sidewalls, new cabin systems. There is none of the worn trim or dated fittings a twenty-year-old light jet usually carries, because functionally this is not a twenty-year-old cabin — it is a recent one, fitted into a proven shape. Six passengers in a club-four and pair enjoy the family's vertical-walled, shoulder-room-preserving geometry, presented as if the aircraft left the factory yesterday.

High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
