The nearest currently operational general aviation alternatives in the region are in Poland: Warsaw Chopin to the north, or Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE) approximately 180 km northwest of Ivano-Frankivsk, which remains open and has seen increased traffic from humanitarian and logistics operators since 2022. Bratislava and Budapest represent the nearest UHNWI-grade FBO options for clients needing to access the broader western Ukraine region by alternative overland routing.

Pre-conflict, IFO had documented customs clearance on-site and general aviation handling through Ukrainian state-affiliated ground service providers.
