About the Dassault Falcon 2000LX

The 2000LX of 2010 took the proven widebody twin and addressed it at the wingtips. Dassault fitted Aviation Partners blended high-Mach winglets — the tall, curved tips that cut the vortex drag spilling off a conventional wing — and the gains were measurable: range rose to 4,603 km, the aircraft could climb directly to a higher, more efficient initial cruise altitude, and hot-and-high airport performance improved. None of it touched the cabin or the engines; it was pure aerodynamics, paid for once and banked on every flight. It carries 12 passengers (up to 14) at 1,020 km/h, with around 30 in European charter — the most numerous of the EX-generation 2000s. The LX is the efficiency refinement that made the wide twin go further on the same fuel.

Performance Excellence

Two crew operate the 2000LX across 4,603 km / 2,485 nm at up to 1,020 km/h (551 ktas) on Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C power, the blended winglets adding the range over the base EX. Around 30 examples serve European charter at roughly €10,500 per hour — the largest fleet of the generation. Its case is pure efficiency: the same cabin and engines as the EX, with winglets that buy extra range, a higher cruise and better short-field numbers for nothing more than their one-time fitment.

Cabin Comfort

The 2000LX cabin is the widebody Falcon's — 7.65 m long, 2.34 m wide, 1.83 m tall — and the winglets quietly improve what happens inside it. By letting the aircraft climb sooner to a higher cruise, the LX more often flies above the weather and the turbulence that lives in the mid-altitudes, so passengers in the forward club and aft four-place feel a steadier ride on a typical sector. The taller, cleaner wing also trims the buffet and noise that a hard-working wingtip transmits into the cabin. Twelve seats, full galley, enclosed lavatory — the same generous widebody space as every 2000, delivered on a smoother, higher, quieter flight profile.

High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
