About the Dassault Falcon 900B

By 1993 the Falcon 900 had proved its concept; the 900B made it earn its keep on the routes operators actually wanted to fly. Honeywell uprated the TFE731 to the -5BR-1C variant with extra thrust and improved fuel burn, and Dassault raised the maximum takeoff weight by 700 kg, so the airframe could carry significantly more fuel without compromising payload. Range climbed to 5,466 km at 995 km/h — enough that Paris-New York and London-Dubai stopped being marginal and became routine. It carries 12 passengers (up to 14), with around 25 in European charter — the largest fleet of the early 900s. The B is the variant that turned a clever trijet design into a true intercontinental working tool.

Performance Excellence

Three crew operate the 900B across 5,466 km / 2,950 nm at up to 995 km/h (537 ktas) on three Honeywell TFE731-5BR-1C turbofans — the engine upgrade that defined the variant. Around 25 examples serve European charter at roughly €9,200 per hour. Its case is the gain over the original: more than a thousand kilometres of additional range, on the same airframe, for an engine upgrade that pays back in fuel burn as well. It is the early 900 most likely to be quoted for a Europe-Middle East or transatlantic charter in its second-hand decade.

Cabin Comfort

The 900B inherits the Falcon 900 cabin — 10.11 m long, 2.34 m wide, 1.88 m tall — but earns its character on the longer sectors the extra fuel unlocks. Where the original 900 typically flew four- and five-hour legs, the B routinely flies seven and eight, and the cabin furniture rewards that with proper utility: the aft three-place divan becomes a bed for someone, the mid four-place layout supports a working meeting that can run its full length, the forward club is where coffee gets sipped while a long-haul wears on. The full galley supports a proper service rather than a snack round, the enclosed lavatory adds value on every hour past the first three. It is the original 900 cabin given the airframe range it always implied.

High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
