About the Gulfstream Gulfstream G350
By 2004 the GIV-derived heavies had a brilliant airframe and an ageing cockpit. The G350 fixed the cockpit. Gulfstream fitted the PlaneView flight deck — its Honeywell Primus Epic-based system with four large landscape displays and cursor control devices, the same architecture flying on the new flagship G550 — onto the proven large-cabin GIV airframe. The result was the most modern of the GIV-derived heavies: the classic Rolls-Royce Tay-powered, three-zone cabin, now flown from a flight deck a full generation ahead of the G300 and G400 beside it. Range is 7,408 km at 1,039 km/h — the fastest of the GIV-derived trio. It carries 12 passengers (up to 14), with around 20 in European charter. The G350 is the legend with a modern brain.
Performance Excellence
Two crew operate the G350 across 7,408 km / 4,000 nm at up to 1,039 km/h (561 ktas) on Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C turbofans — the fastest cruise of the GIV-derived heavies. Around 20 examples serve European charter at roughly €10,200 per hour. Its case is the cockpit and cabin modernization: the proven large-cabin GIV airframe carrying the PlaneView flight deck and connected-era cabin systems, so a 1980s-rooted design flies and communicates to a mid-2000s standard. For buyers who want the GIV cabin without the GIV-era avionics, the G350 is the answer.
Cabin Comfort
The G350's cabin is the large-cabin Gulfstream standard — 13.41 m long, 2.24 m wide, 1.88 m tall, in three living zones — but the PlaneView-era build years brought the cabin forward as well as the cockpit. G350s typically carry more capable cabin management and connectivity than the earlier G300 and G400: integrated control of lighting, temperature and entertainment, and satellite systems built to handle in-flight communication that the late-1980s GIVs never anticipated. Twelve passengers across forward, middle and aft zones enjoy the same three-zone Gulfstream space and signature oval windows, now wired for a connected era. It is the GIV cabin specified to the standard of the mid-2000s rather than the late 1980s.
High-speed WiFi keeps you connected throughout your flight, allowing you to work or stay in touch. A full galley enables fresh catering service during your journey. A private lavatory ensures comfort on longer flights.
